Algebraic Gamification

August 2014 - May 2017

Missing: Gamification Research Image

The study of turning non-game material into games for a better and accelerated learning experience. By this ideology, this will allow students and abroad audience to learn algebraic concepts without the abstract and dryness that comes from a basic class-room setting. But the game, in itself, must be fun and entertaining - otherwise the gamification concept fails as the student will not be motivated to play that particular game.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

ACM Site
August 2017 - December 2018

Elected as Vice-Chair of the ACM group in Cameron University during the Fall 2017 and reelected for the Fall 2018 chapters.

As the Vice-Chair, I want to use my position to not only help our own members but also are fellow students. With this goal, I want everyone to benefit as to - what to expect in the real world and possible career choices that students might be interested in. To accomplish this goal, I will help to organize special speech events. I will have to work with employees, professors, and also - graduate students that are already in successful fields. However, this will allow the students to gain knowledge from the special events and learn about their fields as well as the importance of their fields.

My ultimate goal is to help all students abroad by providing new information as well as the importance that is related to Information Technology and Computer Science related topics.

Satloc, Transland, Wichita Falls, Texas

Developed and designed new firmware on a FT900 Microcontroller that provides a communication bridge for Control Area Network (CAN) and ADS-B via UART to the D2XX Interface provided by FTDI’s Technologies. Further, helped to redesign the Lightbar Firmware by expunging deprecated and legacy code, but also provided new algorithms for the LEDs to perform critical attention awareness for oncoming objects. Moreover, created programs that will autonomously perform various installations protocols. Installers could provide the following: Satloc Cloud Installations, Wireless Driver installations, Environment Update installations, and AgLaser update installation. These autonomous installers were critical due to the embedded devices being locked down in such a way that the user cannot easily perform the tasks themselves.
